The project is located just a few blocks from the beach and blends mid-century structural expression with an emphasis on volume and transparency. Large private patios and a shared second floor courtyard create dramatic indoor-outdoor spaces that take advantage of the project's ideal coastal climate. The project design is the result of a collaboration between the owner/GC and architect to ensure the integrity of design from concept to completion. Ed Leonard worked from conceptual design and entitlements through working drawings to an expanded role as site supervisor.
